Go big in your Stang Pioneer's modular-style car stereo receivers give you a big touchscreen that connects to a separate head unit that fits in the dash. The Maestro KIT-MUS2 dash and wiring kit, in combination with the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 interface module (sold separately), lets you replace the factory radio (with 4.2" LCD) of your 2015-23 Ford Mustang with a modular-style Pioneer receiver equipped with the iDatalink serial port.

The kit includes a replacement dash panel with texture and finish that matches your factory dash, and a vehicle-specific wiring harness, plus interchangeable panels to allow for installation of Pioneer modular receivers with a 7", 8", or 9" screen. You'll retain your factory steering wheel controls, factory settings, and factory amplifier, as well as warning chimes, retained accessory power (R.A.P.), and secondary vehicle display (if equipped). The module also lets you add vehicle information display and performance gauges on your Pioneer receiver when applicable, as well as supplying illumination and accessory power leads and the outputs (parking brake, reverse, and VSS [Vehicle Speed Sense]) needed for a navigation receiver.

The KIT-MUS2 lets you keep your factory backup camera with dynamic parking guidelines and park assist chimes (chime speaker included); your aftermarket head unit must have a composite video rearview camera input. The factory 360 camera feature is also retained (if factory equipped). Ford Mustang OEM Integration Dash Kit & Vehicle Harness: The iDatalink Maestro KIT-MUS2 consists of an OEM integration dash kit and vehicle harness designed specifically for the 2015-2023 Ford Mustang equipped with a factory 4.2" LCD screen. In combination with the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module (sold separately), the KIT-MUS2 lets you replace the factory radio (with 4.2" LCD) of your 2015-2023 Ford Mustang with a modular-style Pioneer receiver equipped with the iDatalink Serial Port.

REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION: Installation note, This kit supports Idatalink's Direct T-Harnesses for direct connection to select Idatalink Serial Port compatible head units ACC-HU-PIO1 (Pioneer) Installation T-Harness. (Sold separately.) - replacing the wiring harness that comes with your aftermarket stereo (some hardwiring may still be required). If connecting to an aftermarket headunit that does not support an Idatalink Direct T-Harness, you'll need to cut-off and remove the 20-pin black connector from the harness and each wire spliced directly to the aftermarket radio's corresponding wire.

Radio Compatibility: Only works with Pioneer modular receivers with a 7", 8", or 9" touchscreen monitor (DMH-C2550NEX, DMH-C5500NEX, DMH-WC5700NEX, and DMH-WC600NEX)

Head Unit Connection: The KIT-MUS2 supports iDatalink's ACC-HU-PIO1 adapter harness for direct connection to a compatible Pioneer modular-style receiver (including the DMH-C2550NEX, DMH-C5500NEX, DMH-WC5700NEX, and DMH-WC600NEX) - replacing the wiring harness that comes with your aftermarket stereo (some hardwiring may still be required).

OEM Grade Fit & Finish Kit: The KIT-MUS2 dash kit features a factory grade fit & finish to match the contour and color of your For mustang's dash. This OEM integration kit specifically fits 2019-2023 Pioneer modular-style receivers (such as the DMH-C2550NEX, DMH-C5500NEX, DMH-WC5700NEX, and DMH-WC600NEX).

Retained Features: The following factory features (if applicable) are retained when replacing your factory radio with a compatible Pioneer modular-style receiver using the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module and KIT-MUS2 installation package.

◾ Factory Amplifier: Retains factory premium audio amplifier (including Sony & THX) with turn-on, fader, gain adjustment, DSP settings, and speed compensated volume.
◾ Steering Wheel Controls: Factory steering wheel controls are retained with two function buttons and expandable radio functions.
◾ Vehicle Settings: Access and modify factory vehicle settings through the compatible aftermarket head unit's touchscreen.
◾ Secondary Vehicle Display: Secondary vehicle display is retained (if factory equipped) with audio information and hands-free information
◾ Advanced Camera Features: Factory backup camera is retained with dynamic parking guidelines and park assist chimes (chime speaker included); your aftermarket head unit must have a composite video rearview camera input. The factory 360 camera feature is also retained (if factory equipped). If you add an aftermarket front camera (sold separately) to your idatalink compatible head unit that is equipped with multiple camera inputs, the vehicle's factory auto camera switching feature is also retained.
◾ USB Port Retention: The included USB retention harness allows you to retain the vehicle's factory USB port. As long as your new car stereo has a high-amperage charging port (1.5A or greater), this USB adapter harness should support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto operation. However, the number of variables involved means we can't guarantee compatibility.
◾ RAP & Warning Chimes: The vehicle's RAP (Retained Accessory Power) & Warning Chimes are retained.

Extra Features: The following extra features are retained when replacing your factory radio with a compatible Pioneer modular-style receiver using the Maestro RR or RR 2Car Radio Replacement Interface module and KIT-MUS2 installation packages.
