Plot Summary

At a remote research facility in the middle of the ocean, a team of scientists, led by Susan McAlester (Saffron Burrows), is working on a cure for Alzheimer's by altering shark brains. But when one of the sharks escapes and attacks a nearby boat, corporate executive Russell Franklin (Samuel L. Jackson) arrives to shut the project down.

McAlester has just 48 hours to prove her work is valuable, but the sharks have become smarter and deadlier than anyone could have imagined. As a massive storm hits, the facility floods, trapping the team inside with their creations. Now, they must outthink the ultimate predator before it’s too late.
